The Wausau (Wisconsin) Daily Herald property has been sold, but the newspaper will continue reporting news in and about the Wausau area.
Gannett Co. Inc. sold the building at 800 Scott St., which has housed the newspaper offices since 1958.
"The sale of the building will have no impact on newsroom coverage or staffing," said Jim Fitzhenry, executive editor and vice president of news for USA TODAY NETWORK-Central Wisconsin, which includes the Wausau Daily Herald.
