The Journal Gazette is taking a new approach to presenting local news.
We’ve always strived to emphasize local reporting, including business, sports and entertainment. Starting today, local content is going to be featured more prominently on our front page Tuesday through Friday.
In the past, we’ve displayed most of our local news on the Metro cover, allowing more room on 1A for national and international stories from wire services.
The most important breaking national and world news events will still have place in our newspaper and on our front page. But the majority of news stories not written by our staff will now be featured on inside pages.
