Rick Rouan assumed duties as managing editor of The Columbus (Ohio) Dispatch recently.
Rouan, 38, succeeds Encarnacion Pyle, who accepted a top editor role in Richmond, Virginia, earlier this year, said Executive Editor Michael Shearer.
A former Dispatch reporter for eight years, Rouan most recently served as statehouse and politics editor for Cleveland.com. He's also worked for USA TODAY's Washington Bureau, Columbus Business First and other media outlets.
