America's Newspapers welcomes X-CAGO into membership

X-CAGO B.V. is a media solutions company owned by PMG Presse-Monitor GmbH in Germany that has developed internationally recognized technology solutions that bridge the gap between the print, archive, digital and online worlds.   

X-CAGO serves clients worldwide including content producers, publishers, eKiosks, app providers media monitoring organizations, museums and libraires.

Processing more than 5,000 titles, X-CAGO generates flawless XML and/or JSON files of publisher content to be used seamlessly to ingest the content into (web) apps, B2C and B2B channels.

X-CAGO also specializes in the digitization of analogue and digital media assets and has more than 20 years of experience in the digitization of newspaper, magazine, book, video, film, audio and photo archives.

In addition to PDF to XML/JSON conversions, X-CAGO’s core technologies include: web crawling, text to speech, speech to text, highly accurate multiple language translations and digital archive solutions.

Founded in 2001, PMG is a joint venture of German newspaper and magazine publishers with the following shareholders: Axel Springer, Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, Gruner + Jahr, Hubert Burda Media Holding, SPIEGEL-Verlag Rudolf Augstein, Süddeutsche Zeitung and Handelsblatt Media Group as well as the Federal Association of German Newspaper Publishers and the Association of German Magazine Publishers. PMG markets the content and rights of around 850 newspaper and magazine publishers with approximately 4,000 print and online sources.
