The Manchester (Vermont) Journal is growing, with additions of staff, specialty pages and new e-editions added Monday through Thursday, making it a five-day-a-week daily newspaper beginning Oct. 31.

The Journal's Friday print and e-edition will retain its weekly distribution, too.

"This move will allow us to cover daily news in Manchester and throughout the Northshire specifically. The mountaintop region is truly magical and has so much to offer for travelers and locals alike that it deserves its own dedicated publication," said Jordan Brechenser, Journal publisher and president. "This is exciting on many levels. There are so many unique and seasonal news and business items to cover here. We look forward to rolling this out and working closely with the area businesses to put a spotlight on them.”
