Jennifer Moates, an experienced journalist with a strong background in small town newspapers, has been named regional publisher at the Palatka Daily News in Palatka, Florida.
Moates comes to Putnam County from Cartersville, Georgia, where she was general manager of The Daily Tribune News. Prior to becoming general manager in 2020, Moates was advertising director and earlier in her career, an advertising sales representative. She is a graduate of the University of Georgia’s Henry W. Grady School of Journalism.
