Georges Media Group, parent company of The Times-Picayune | NOLA.com, The Advocate, The Acadiana Advocate and Gambit is announcing a new division of the company focused on providing sports and sports betting content for both emerging and existing publishers nationwide. Home Field Sports will produce high quality sports and sports betting content across a myriad of platforms including print, online, social, video and email. Catapulting off of the tremendous success of Bet.NOLA.com, Georges Media Group's sports betting vertical in Louisiana, Home Field Sports will leverage the expertise of our sports betting editorial team to create meaningful and engaging content for our publishing partners across the country. In conjunction with editorial content, Home Field Sports will provide strategic, creative and analytical support to our publishing partners to ensure the content we provide reaches as large and as relevant an audience as possible.
“Over a year ago, we stood up an independent sports betting division to drive readership and engagement with the Louisiana sports betting audience. Our multi-faceted approach, and commitment from across our organization, has yielded strong results. We believe we can bring our successful model to other publishers interested in this growing audience segment,” said Judi Terzotis, president and publisher of The Times-Picayune | NOLA.com and The Advocate.
As part of the launch, Home Field Sports is excited to announce its first content partnership with The Daily Gazette in New York. “The Daily Gazette is excited to be entering into a partnership with Home Field Sports to provide Sports/Sports gaming content to our readers. This kind of partnership is a first for us and we look forward to delivering the highest quality content in this space,” said Bob O’Leary, vice president of advertising and new business development at The Daily Gazette.
