The Houston Chronicle has named Edward McGee as its new director of video and visual storytelling, a role that will guide how the newsroom uses video and visual reporting to tell Houston’s stories in deeper, more engaging ways.
In his new position at the Chronicle, McGee will help expand how the newsroom approaches visual storytelling. He will work with Houston Chronicle journalists to develop compelling short-form videos, video franchises and new series that highlight the people, issues and communities shaping Houston.
