The Detroit (Michigan) Free Press has added additional news and features to its Sunday edition, all designed to improve the Sunday reading experience.
In a column explaining the changes, Peter Bhatia, editor of the Detroit Free Press, noted that additional features have been added to the main news section (the A section), in Opinion, in the Business section and in the Life/Entertainment section. He said, "Some of it is new; some of it is bringing back material you have mentioned in emails to me and other editors."
In the main news section, the Free Press has added more news of the state and more news of Detroit. Every Sunday will include a Michigan page, with news of the week from around the state and enterprising reports from the Free Press staff.
