American Newspaper Solutions and CarrierTrack Technologies were very honored to sponsor the 2025 Operations All-Star Awards that were presented by Editor and Publisher on Sept. 25 at the International Newspaper Group Conference in Indianapolis, Indiana. Mike Blinder, publisher of E&P Magazine, did his usual amazing job of making the winners and runner-up members of this year’s class feel as if they had just won an Oscar, which — in the Operations part of our business — they had.
Mike started the awards presentation by recognizing the founder and CEO of American Newspaper Solutions and CarrierTrack Technologies Jerry Ballenger, who recently passed away, as a titan and visionary of our industry. He recognized that one of the final decisions that Jerry made was to commit to sponsoring these awards. Jerry said that the people on the Operations staff of newspapers are one of the foundations of our companies and a key reason that print continues to be a vital component of our industry.
