The Bradenton Herald proudly announces the commencement of the 2024 "Bradenton’s Best" People’s Choice contest. This annual event, now in its third year since its revival, celebrates the exceptional local businesses and professionals in Bradenton, Manatee and Sarasota counties. The contest has become a key cultural fixture, fostering community pride and showcasing the dynamic growth of the area.

Since its re-introduction, "Bradenton’s Best" has mirrored the transformation of the Bradenton area from a traditional agricultural and fishing hub into a bustling urban center. This evolution is reflected in the rising numbers of participants each year, with the 2023 edition recording an impressive 212,000 votes from over 86,000 community members.

This year, the contest expands to include more than 2,400 nominees across over 220 categories in 10 diverse topics, ranging from culinary arts and health services to education and entertainment. This broad categorization ensures comprehensive community representation, celebrating the myriad facets of life in Bradenton.

Voting is set to take place from April 22 through May 10, via the user-friendly platform at VoteBradenton.com, allowing daily participation from any device. The winners will be announced in August and featured prominently in the 2024 edition of the Bradenton’s Best magazine. This publication will delve into the stories behind the winners, offering them a platform to connect with the community and enhance their local engagement.
