Registration has begun for the America’s Newspapers Family Owners Meeting, sponsored by the SNPA Foundation and the Inland Press Foundation, to be held July 8 and 9 in New Orleans.

This is an exclusive opportunity to connect and collaborate with other newspaper families facing similar challenges and opportunities. This regional program is designed for owners and key executives of independently-owned newspapers to exchange ideas and strategies for navigating today’s business landscape.

The Family Owners Meeting will begin on the evening of Tuesday, July 8, with a reception and dinner. Discussions will be held all day on Wednesday, July 9 — wrapping up at 4 p.m.

Topics will include best practices on revenue and expense strategies, market trends and increasing community engagement. Attendees will also have the opportunity to break into smaller groups based on their roles for deeper discussion.

Participation is open to owners, family members involved in the business, and senior executives or publishers designated by the organization’s owner.

Registration fees:

  • $150 for newspaper executives (includes the Family Owners reception/dinner on Tuesday evening and the meeting sessions on Wednesday)
  • Guest rate: $75 (includes the Family Owners reception/dinner on Tuesday evening)

This meeting is open to members of America's Newspapers. Not a member? Contact Patty Slusher at pslusher@newspaper to learn how to join this influential group.
