TownNews has announced that Sinead Steele has been appointed to the newly-created position of vice president of operations, and Rick Rogers has been promoted to chief revenue officer.

"These changes are great for both TownNews and our customers," said Brad Ward, CEO of TownNews. "Sinead and Rick are both hyper-focused on transforming the media industry with visionary growth models. In their new roles, they'll have wide latitude to create and execute the strategies that enable our partners to thrive now and into the future."

Steele has been with Lee Enterprises (the majority owner of TownNews) for 11 years, most recently serving as director of Lee Digital Operations. She brings more than 20 years of software operations leadership. In her new role, she will be working with advertising services, client services, iQ project managers, online production and programs to identify new revenue-based services and strengthen operational efficiency.

Rick Rogers, who has served as vice president of sales since June of 2016, will continue to oversee the TownNews sales and marketing team. He'll also act as a resource for the TownNews client base, helping them maximize their revenue and audience potential with the company's best-in-class technology and services.
