Free multimedia advertising packages are being offered by some Gannett newspapers, including The Providence Journal and the Telegram & Gazette (Worcester), to assist businesses impacted by COVID-19.

The Customer Assistance Program is also being administered by LOCALiQ New England, formerly GateHouse Media, and includes free print and digital advertising.

“The outbreak of the coronavirus has impacted our communities in unprecedented ways and will continue to challenge all of us in the coming weeks and months,” LOCALiQ New England stated in a letter announcing the program. “We are proud of how our community has come together to ensure the safety and health of our employees, their families and our business partners.”
